Today's the day the Princess of Acadia resumes her daily run between Digby, Nova Scotia and Saint John, New Brunswick. I've seen her depart Halifax on the webcams at around 7:00 p.m. last night. She's expected to be in Digby today to begin her schedule at 16:00 hrs (4:00 p.m.) this evening. Her first departure from Saint John would be tomorrow at 09:00 hrs. I'll be taking photos of her first departure since refit today, so, stay tuned as I head to Digby this afternoon.
Digby Ferry terminal, June 2010. Note: she opens her bow and stern doors at both ports much like the Confederation does as she ends her sailings from either Wood Islands or Caribou. This is only after her late night crossing to Digby and morning arrival in Saint John as this practice is not done on the afternoon sailing out of Digby. Not sure for what purpose, maybe airing the vehicle deck??
