It's beginning to look like the Princess of Acadia might be around for another five (if not more) years. I spotted some work done on the lifeboat davits, as well as lifeboat #3 missing (don't exactly know why she's sailing with seven lifeboats, perhaps replacing boat # 3). as well as SWL lettering on the davits themselves as seen in the photo below.
Those thinking the old girl will be replaced soon might have to wait a lot longer with all this additional work done to her lately. I also spotted when she arrived from refit back in April she has a new Sperry Marine radar on the funnel.
Looks kind of odd with three lifeboats on the starboard side eh??
