Remembering the MV William Carson

I decided in honor of the MV William Carson, I wouldn't blog on the somber anniversary of her tragic fate.  I consider her the "MV Caribou" of her time (a large Canadian-built ice breaker (351' , 83,00 t) and Canada's largest ferry in her day). She truly revolutionized the gulf run in her day.  From 1955 until 1958, she ran from North Sydney to Argentia until the Harbour in Port aux Basques could accomodate her!!
