The top stories for my neck of the woods this year would be all about the aquaculture industry and all the funding recieved and not to mention a reality T.V. show filmed on the industry in the spring. There was also things happening in the lobster industry including a new association in January and a strike in early May as the fishermen believed that there was no fair price for them to make a living.
