Princess of Acadia heading south

For my first post of 2013, some big news:  The MV Princess of Acadia will be heading south for her refit period this year.  As Novadock in Halifax will be unavailable for quite some time, she will head to Charleston, South Carolina, presumably at Detyens to have her maintenance done as well as repairing her bow thruster.  This is the first time this ship will be out of Canadian waters in her 42 year career.  The last time an Canadian east coast ferry went to the United States for drydocking was in 2010, when the MV Joseph and Clara Smallwood went to Boston to have one of her rudders fixed, her very last drydocking.  Those requesting more information should go to http://www.nfl-bay.com
