Top ship movements of 2012

2012 has been a year of big ship movements around my neck of the woods and here's my top 3 (they are all ship sales as well)

#3:  Marine Coaster III.  She arrived at AF Theriault and sons as the Lady White Head in July, which has been up for sale in Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick for almost a year beside MV Grand Manan (still up for sale).  She had been repainted and renamed under her new owners Puddister Shipping out of St. John's, NL.

 #2: Antonio H.  She first arrived in Meteghan in late September as the trawler Cardigan Lady, which has been laid up in Liverpool for close to 10 years.  After a few weeks of work at Comeau Marine Railway, she then sailed off, final destination unknown at this time.

#1 Ocean Borrommee Verreault and I.V. No. 9,10 and 14.  The clamshell dredge Rosaire along with I.V. No. 9,10 and 14 had been to the wharf in Meteghan from October 2008 until this April.  Aside from their refit at AF Theriault and sons in May 2009, they were literally just laid up at the Meteghan wharf until Dragage Verreault declared bankruptcy and auctioned off all their assets this March.  Winning buyer: Groupe Ocean. The Rosaire left the Meteghan wharf with I.V. No. 14 under toe to Quebec while I.V. No. 9-10 were brought to A.F. Theriault and sons to form another tow within the next month.  Both group of vessels were towed by Groupe Ocean's tug Andre H to their repair yard to get them operational for their career under new ownership.
