Today was the day I had my first views of the new cruise ferry
Nova Star and I'm honestly impressed by her shear size and her ability to turn in Yarmouth Harbour. Todays departure was a half hour ahead of schedule, not sure why, but the tide was low this morning and maybe not a whole lot of passengers (could pick up steam when summer rolls around). The Nova Star is also the quietest ship out of the ferries that used to cross to Maine.

Nova Star is registered in the Bahamas, as like every other ferry dating back to the
second Bluenose ferry Prince of Fundy.
