7 more days (UPDATED)

In one week from today (as there appears to be no schedule changes), the MV Princess of Acadia is scheduled to make her first crossing in three weeks after maintenance, inspection and bow thruster repairs in Charleston, South Carolina.  I plan to be around Digby when she arrives and/or makes her first trips across.  Hopefully frequent users of the service are understanding that the ship needs a lot of maintenance and upkeep to keep her safe, but it does beg the question why there has been no temporary replacement while the permanent ferry goes for refit or repairs.

UPDATE:02/06/13 the refit work is complete, now waiting for improved weather conditions.  New date for service resumption is on Tuesday February 12 Please check www.nfl-bay.com for more up to date information.
