Digby wharf improvements

 Now, for the final installment on the improvements in Digby, the main wharf will be getting another floating wharf soon.  The poles arrived from New Brunswick aboard the MV Princess of Acadia a few weeks ago and would be driven into the harbour floor approximately 50 feet by McNally Construction, also contracted to do new fenders at the ferry terminal.  I couldn't find the lighthouse while I was in town, so, no photos to show of her yet.

 The dock poles for the new floating wharf to be installed later, the part where the green epoxy paint is missing will be driven into the harbour floor.

 The area where the floating wharf would be is where the bouys and posts are, near the old spar which has been demolished recently.

After completion, it should look like this one that was completed earlier.
