Unlike her namesake which ran aground three years ago, the ferry William Pitt II safely made it in yesterday after a transit voyage from Saint John, N.B. and hauled up to begin her 1 month refit. (see my last blog with more info).
Other ships at the shipyard include the trawler Atlantic Sapphire on slip 1 and behind the netted slip 2 is a small tugboat in for refit work along with the Saint John pilot boat Fundy Pilot hauled up on a boat trailer.
Dockside we have the trawler Gypsy Mariner as well as the Cooke Aquaculture vessels R-Max and Early Start. Right behind them sits the new Beausoleil III.
