It's been four months since the ferry Joe Casey has seen the water. She's been at AF Theriault's since December 2011 for what appears to be a major overhaul at this point. She was built at AF Theriault's and first served the Petit Passage between East Ferry on Digby Neck and Tiverton on Long Island until the Petit Princess replaced her in 2003 or 2004. Since then, she now services the Grand Passage between Freeport on Long Island and Westport on Brier Island, replacing the Joshua Slocum.
