After her last sailing on October 14, the 161 meter (528 foot) cruise ferry
Nova Star has not moved from her berth in Yarmouth. A planed voyage to Fort Peirce, Florida is in the works according to
Marine Traffic, however, whether it's for winter lay up or possibly a Casino ferry remains to be seen. Her final voyage of the season departing Yarmouth for Portland unfortunately led to the death of an off duty employee aboard the vessel shortly after collapsing. All photos taken yesterday (October 17).
Possibly an upgrade for the 2015 season, it's looking like walk-on passengers could use the ramp again instead of coming aboard through the vehicle deck.
