Starting with the Digby-Saint John run, service will be disrupted from October 18-November 6 as
MV Princess of Acadia heads for dry dock to repair her bow thruster, which plagued her all summer, however, still ran safely and reliably across the Bay of Fundy. This could perhaps be her very last dry docking as a
replacement ferry could be arriving in Canada at the end of the year for modifications. Once again, it would not be the Novadock in Halifax as that dry dock no longer accepts work due to safety related issues. For more info, go to

Ferry service from Yarmouth to Portland will end for the season when
MV Nova Star docks in Yarmouth tomorrow morning (October 14). She will stay laid up in Yarmouth until alternate berthing arrangements or winter work is found. I do hope that Nova Star will be successful in the future and wish Nova Star Cruises well for the 2015 season.
