Since last week, the herring seiner Margaret Elizabeth N0.1 has been in for maintenance at AF Theriault's. Currently, the vessel has undergone some sandblasting at her stern. Built at Pictou Industries in Pictou in 1971 and owned by Vondell II Fisheries Ltd, she has been updated and modernized over her 42 year career and she's still going strong.
