The ferry
Scotian has been hauled up on slip 5, refit and maintenance being carried out. There was news that ferry service on the Freeport-Westport run was disrupted last week for approximately 16 hours while that ferry had mechanical problems.
A barge from the aquaculture industry (perhaps a Cooke barge, but not certain) on the slip in behind the steel (big shop). Inside the steel shop, a new Halifax-Woodside ferry is being built and now has a name:
Christopher Stannix. Hopefully I'll be able to see the new ferry before she heads out on a deadline of April 1st.
