In this recent article from the Gulf News, a former visitor to the area Marine Coaster III (Ex. Lady White Head) has made the news. She now serves between Rose Blanche and LaPoile, Newfoundland since mid November of this year and residents are saying she's too unreliable and slower (the usual ferry Challenge I takes about 1 1/2 hours while Marine Coaster III makes it in 2 1/2 -3 hours) for their ferry service, as well as being stopped too much in windy conditions. Here's hoping a solution (and/or more reliable ferry) is found for Rose Blanche and LaPoile residents soon.
