Today could very well be the final peak season departures for the MV Princess of Acadia if a replacement is found soon. On June 24, it was announced this grand old lady can finally get to retire soon and there could very well be an announcement this fall. Any news since this has been dormant however, there's still time for such news to come through, however, remaining cautiously optimistic a newer vessel will be found soon. A note to pass along, there will not be an 8:00 P.M. departure tonight from Saint John as the ferry is positioning itself for the winter schedule beginning at 9:00 A.M. tomorrow morning from the New Brunswick side.
