After a 90 minute delay on Friday September 6, 2013, Nova Scotia's sailing ambassador
Bluenose II returned to the sea after being landlocked since January for rudder/propellers installation among other things. These photographs I took yesterday were taken a full 24-25 hours after her launch on September 7, 2013. The Lunenburg Shipyard Alliance has done a great job so far and can't wait to see our floating ambassador make port calls around our province soon.

The slips at the shipyard are now bare for the first time since the refit of Bluenose II began.
