Time for the happenings at the Meteghan wharf today, since last week, the herring seiner Lady Melissa has been on the slip to get some work done before the herring season starts. After a two month refit, the Lady Yvette II is finally complete and has left the Meteghan wharf in recent days. By the way, one footnote about this month that's not ship-related, this is one of the most mildest February's in recent history for Southwestern Nova Scotia, Temps today were as high as 6C!! Also, very little snow on the ground at this time. Awkward for this month.
